juicing detox
so erik and i will begin our 12 day detox tomorrow. Im super stoked! Its something i have wanted to do for a very long time.first i was pregnant, then nursing, then pregnant again (ha!), then nusing again. I stopped nursing hektor right at 6 months and with the holidays behind us now is the perfect time to start!
We have eaten like pigs, i mean kings all weekend. We had pizza, fries, whataburger,krispy kreme(that was only erik), mexican food, and i think we are eating bill miller today. Lol. Im kinda grossed out by our desire to eat so much. We have acted like we will never see food again. Its only 12 days!
The detox we are doing isnt just juicing. The detox consists of fruit and veggies only. However they can be eaten raw, cooked, or juiced/blended. You cant add ranch,butter,or peanut butter though...darn! Actually you cant add anything, not even salt. So the plan is to start every morning with a 8 oz glass of carrot juice. Fruits and veggies the rest of the day. I am prepared to be grouchy inthe begining, but by day three you are supposed to have more energy and a clear head. The hardest part will be the no coffee. I have a cup every morning and a half cup around 430. Im really gonna feel the no coffee. That might make me grouchy, just the thought puts me in a bad mood.grrrrrr....
